Neenjas Technologies Private Limited ("Neenjas," "we," "us," or "our") operates the Neenjas Connect mobile application (the "App"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use the App.

1. Information We Collect

Personal Information

When you create an account, we collect:

• Email address
• Name
• Authentication credentials (managed by AWS Cognito or Google Sign-In)

Device and Telemetry Data

When you pair a Neenjas power station with the App, we collect device data including:

• Battery level, voltage, and current
• Solar input and power output metrics
• Device temperature
• Firmware version and device serial number
• Device health and status indicators

Bluetooth and Location Data

The App uses Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) to discover, pair, and communicate with your Neenjas power station. On Android devices, the operating system requires location permission to perform Bluetooth scanning. We use this permission solely for BLE device discovery and do not collect, store, or share your geographic location.

Usage and Diagnostic Data

We automatically collect:

• Crash reports and error logs (via Sentry), which may include device model, operating system version, and app state at the time of a crash
• Push notification tokens (via Firebase Cloud Messaging) if you enable notifications

Crash reports do not contain your personal account information or device telemetry data.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Provide, operate, and maintain the App and its features
• Display real-time and historical device telemetry
• Deliver firmware updates to your devices over the air
• Send push notifications about device status, firmware updates, and alerts
• Authenticate your identity and secure access to your account and devices
• Diagnose and fix bugs, crashes, and performance issues
• Respond to your support requests
• Improve and develop new features for the App

3. Sharing of Your Information

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We share data only with the following categories of service providers, solely to operate the App:

• Amazon Web Services (AWS) — cloud hosting, device communication (AWS IoT Core), user authentication (AWS Cognito), and data storage
• Google — user authentication via Google Sign-In
• Sentry — crash reporting and application performance monitoring
• Firebase (Google) — push notification delivery via Firebase Cloud Messaging

We may also disclose your information if required to do so by law, regulation, legal process, or enforceable governmental request.

4. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored on servers hosted by Amazon Web Services. We implement industry-standard security measures including:

• TLS encryption for all data in transit
• X.509 certificate-based authentication for device-to-cloud communication
• Encrypted credential storage on your mobile device
• OAuth 2.0 and JWT-based access control

While we strive to protect your information, no method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security of your data.

5. Data Retention

We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you with the App's services. Device telemetry data is retained to provide historical usage trends. If you delete your account, we will delete or anonymize your personal information within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.

6. Your Rights and Choices

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to:

• Access — request a copy of the personal data we hold about you
• Correction — request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data
• Deletion — request deletion of your account and personal data
• Data Portability — request your data in a machine-readable format
• Withdraw Consent — opt out of push notifications or other optional processing at any time through the App settings or your device settings

7. Children's Privacy

The App is not intended for use by children under the age of 13 (or the applicable minimum age in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe that a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will promptly delete such information.

The App may contain links to third-party websites or services that are not operated by us. We have no control over, and assume no responsibility for, the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third-party websites or services.
